    A lovely area, a lot of shaded areas and plenty of space around.

    There is also a jetty where a lot of people go fishing.

    The park actually has a free animal park which is very small but it's a nice little addition.

    This is a great place to go, definitely worth a visit! The animals look like they are very well looked after and the zoo was neat and tidy throughout. The reptiles seemed popular with children who had fun trying to spot them. It is quite small and won't take long to get through. Free entry but there is a donations box inside to keep the zoo running.

    I discovered the zoo completely by accident and I was blown away by not only the range of exhibits but the very detailed descriptions given. The park was beautifully kept and a good deal of effort made to ensure that the enclosures were as natural as could be expected. Many thanks to all involved.     Great little zoo, go when it's a bit cooler in the day and you'll see more animals. Friendly keepers who are happy to chat and educate. Our kids enjoyed it, even when animals were hard to find they enjoyed looking for them. A very eclectic variety of animals from Australian to exotic.

    Great free family fun. Nice lot of animals to see and a great surrounding park and playground for the kids.
