  It's very sad that is the only place in Bundaberg that does this type of testing. And, I was told that is the only technician that does the EEGs test. As a parent it is stressful that your child is being referred for extra testing but then to feel your child is being treated unfairly made the situation very upsetting.

  My daughter was booked in for an EEG test. In the appointment I felt the technician barely attempted to try to give my daughter the test. The technician didn't speak once to my daughter and only spoke to me to give orders. My daughter is 6 years old with developmental delays and she was nervous because it was something different. With a little reassurance I'm sure she would've have gone through with the test. My daughter wasn't given the chance. The technician pretty much gave up as soon as my daughter became upset. The technician then told me to go back to the Dr and if it's important you'll have to go to Brisbane for the test. I believe the technician should have made more of an attempt for my daughter to have the EEG test.

  I wouldn't recommend for children. Don't waste your time and go straight to Brisbane for an appointment, like we now will be doing.
